Vacancy

Practice Manager

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 *dependent on experience

Who we are

Serving the Leeds community for over 30 years, Good Health Centre is a well-established, multidisciplinary musculoskeletal clinic with a strong reputation for high-quality, patient-centred care. Our team of over 25 practitioners spans osteopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, and complementary therapies, enabling integrated treatment under one roof.

Good Health Centre is part of Kinetico Health, a growing group of private musculoskeletal clinics across the UK, focused on improving performance through investment in people, systems, and operations. This is an exciting time to join as the group continues to scale. While this is a senior, hands-on role with full ownership of the clinic, you will be supported by a central team across operations, HR, marketing, and strategy – providing the structure, tools, and guidance needed to succeed.

The role

We are seeking a hands-on, commercially aware Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the clinic. This is a senior operational role with ownership over clinic performance. You will be working closely with the Clinical Director and together, you will be responsible for clinic performance, team effectiveness, and the overall patient experience.

Key responsibilities

Day-to-day operations & team leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient flow, and consistently high service and regulatory standards
  • Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and ways of working
  • Manage, develop, and recruit reception/admin staff and practitioners
  • Act as the primary point of contact for practitioner issues, while overseeing availability, diary planning, and holiday cover to meet demand

Patient experience

  • Maintain high service standards across all patient touchpoints, from initial enquiry to ongoing care
  • Continuously improve the end-to-end patient journey (booking, communication, in-clinic experience)
  • Monitor and improve conversion of enquiries into booked appointments across all channels, along with patient feedback and complaints effectively

Patient retention

  • Monitor retention metrics and work with practitioners to improve rebooking and ongoing care conversion
  • Oversee management of patients without a future appointment, ensuring consistent follow-up
  • Plan, execute, and track recall campaigns (text, email, outbound calls) to re-engage lapsed patients

Performance management & reporting

  • Own clinic performance tracking and provide regular feedback to management to drive improvements
  • Track performance against targets, proactively addressing gaps and underperformance (with Clinical Director where needed)
  • Lead growth initiatives, including service expansion and optimisation of capacity and room utilisation

What we’re looking for

  • At least 10 years’ experience in a Practice Manager or similar operational leadership role (healthcare preferred, but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident leader with experience managing and developing teams
  • Commercial awareness, with experience working with performance metrics and targets
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

If you’re someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving how things run, and building a high-performing team, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established and growing clinic.
