Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle manual technique that improves the functioning of the lymphatic system, which removes excess fluid and waste from the body’s tissues.
We offer three kinds of Medical Lymphatic Drainage treatment:
- General Lymphatic Drainage: for post-operative recovery, and for those looking to improve immune function, eliminate toxins and enhance their overall wellness
- Post-radiotherapy or post-mastectomy MLD: designed specifically for people recovering from cancer treatment who may be experiencing lymphoedema
- Perrin Technique MLD: a specialised form that treats people with post-viral syndromes, such as CFS/ME, fibromyalgia and Long Covid

What will treatment look like?
At your first appointment, your therapist will ask you about your symptoms, any medical conditions you may have, your medical history, and any medications you take. Your therapist will discuss with you the number of treatments you might need and what outcome to expect from your treatment.
Your therapist will then apply a sequence of light, relaxing strokes to your skin while you relax on a treatment table. This will reduce swelling and discomfort and improve drainage overtime.
