What are Headaches?

Most of us have experienced headaches – the sudden, throbbing, or persistent pain that can appear without warning and make even simple tasks feel overwhelming. Some headaches occur on only one side of the head, such as migraines, and can be accompanied by other sensations, like flashing lights, nausea and vomiting. Other headaches are dull and feel like a band or pressure around the head.

Fortunately, our team of practitioners here at the Good Health Centre can help with most types of headaches. Our practitioners will employ a combination of massage, mobilisation, or other techniques around the head, neck, back, and other areas to correct the issues that trigger a headache, providing you with long-term relief. Beyond the treatment room, your practitioner can also offer guidance and advice on lifestyle changes that can reduce or prevent headache recurrences.
