C-Section/Hysterectomy Scar Therapy
Helping ease painful, numb and restricted scars and reconnect with your abdomen again.
This is a scar release specific therapy, supporting women who have birthed via C-section, experienced a Hysterectomy and/or other gynaecological/female surgeries that have involved abdominal incisions.
We conduct a thorough assessment of your scar, abdominal wall and breathing, and then employ a holistic approach that encompasses scar work massage, instrument-assisted massage, and targeted breathing and core exercises.
Additionally, self-massage advice and a tailored exercise plan are provided, to further help alleviate symptoms.
Please note: C-section and hysterectomy scar massage therapy, can only be performed once the scar has completely healed, at least 12 weeks following the incision/surgery.
Bookings can be made online or via the reception team at the clinic.
