Jonny qualified as a physiotherapist in 2012. He has extensive experience working across musculoskeletal and neurological specialities in the NHS and professional sport. He combined his interests in Neurorehabilitation and musculoskeletal sports physiotherapy by working as a Senior physiotherapist within Neurosciences at Leeds General Infirmary and professional sport (Castleford Tigers, Dewsbury Rams, Rugby League World Cup). He completed an MsC in Advanced Clinical Practice in 2022 specialising in neuro and spinal surgery whilst continuing to work in professional rugby league.
Jonny takes care to consider all factors, physical, psychological and social, that could be contributing to pain and dysfunction. This develops a personalised and specific multi modal treatment approach to achieve goals and provide long term functional benefit.
His treatment approach combines education, manual therapy, soft tissue therapy and progressive rehabilitation.
